​​​​Join us at the New Bedford Fishing Heritage Center‘s first ever Seafood Throwdown at the Custom House Farmers Market! It’s a great way to spend a Thursday evening sitting by the ocean listening to the sizzle of the chefs creating amazing dishes for the judges and tastings for the audience. The mystery seafood will be provided by fisherman Jason Jarvis – also member of Hope Road and NAMA Board Member! This Seafood Throwdown will feature chefs Henry Bousquet, Culinary Arts Instructor at Greater New Bedford Regional Vocational Technical High School, and Chris Cronin, Executive Chef at Farm & Coast Market in Padanaram Village, South Dartmouth, MA. They’ll be shopping from the bounty provided by Winterbottom Farm and Brix Bounty Farm.
