Dine Out @ Sustainable Seafood Week NYC

All week long, some of the city’s notable chefs and restaurants, including ABC Kitchen, Arlington Club, Boqueria, Louro, Jimmy’s 43, Parish Hall, Wong, among others, will feature sustainable finfish or shellfish dishes on their menu.

Closing out the week will be a fundraiser for NAMA on May 19 from 1 – 3 p.m. featuring a chef demos with 2 – 3 chefs, tastings and a light lunch of porgies at Jimmy’s No. 43 with our NYC based volunteer, Pamela Flash. $20 door donation (cash, if you please) will go to support NAMA.

For many of these restaurants, serving ‘sustainably’ is already a part of their business philosophy, while for others — it may be their first experience with sustainable seafood products. We want to celebrate both continued efforts as well as first steps by NYC restaurants towards sourcing responsibly-harvested seafood.

Ask the restaurant staff which dishes on their menu are Sustainable Seafood Week specials!
