Rhode Island Policy Council host Ross Peasall, Ocean State Fresh, will be joined by featured guests: Brett Tolley at the Northwest Atlantic Marine Alliance (NAMA) and members of the Newport Lobster Shack Cooperative, to lead a room-wide discussion on how making the decision to buy “local” seafood is important for the RI fishing community and how regional and federal policies around seafood can help or hinder the well-intentioned “Buy Local” movement.
