Eat, drink, and be Irie for the 6th Annual Boston JerkFest™ in the South End that will feature our very own Seafood Throwdown! The Boston JerkFest is a family-friendly Caribbean style food festival that will feature, fun in the sun, Jamaican jerk spiced food and a seafood cook-off.
During Saturday’s Seafood Throwdown, two local chefs will compete against each other each to cook the best local seafood dish – but they won’t know what the main course will be until the start of the Throwdown! Each chef will be given one hour to prepare their dish for three celebrity judges. Come early to get your Seafood Throwdown Tasting Ticket!
Boston JerkFest was noted by Zagat as one of Boston’s top 10 summer food festivals. We so wish it was summer right about now. This year is going to be epic! Yeh mon! Ticket info here.

More about our Seafood Throwdowns:
Fisheries policies, as currently under consideration, could lead to industrialization and consolidation of the fishing industry much like the policies that turned our family farming sector into agribusiness. Seafood Throwdowns are fun, educational and community driven activities that promote the ecological and economic benefit of locally caught seafood. Because we believe who fishes matters.
