The Operations Assistant will work closely with our Coordinating Director and Operations Director to ensure they are organized, tasks are completed, and the board and staff have the tools and support necessary to perform their duties effectively and efficiently.
The Operations Assistant should be based within easy commuting distance of our Gloucester office.

The North American Marine Alliance is looking for a Multimedia Intern to create crisp, stunning graphics and other visuals that support coastal fishing communities and advance our work in food justice and global solidarity.
Our design needs have grown, and this role will help us produce timely, high-quality visuals that strengthen our narrative, outreach, and movement-building.
Projects may include:
- Branded templates for print, such as for fact sheets, letters, and toolkits
- Digital graphics for our social media pages, emails, and websites
- Occasional one-off flyers or graphics to directly support fishers and others
- Potential for light video editing to assist our visual storyteller

Research Intern

DCO2 is currently seeking a research intern to strengthen our informational capacity and academic foundation to oppose the development of offshore fish farms in the United States. Specifically, we are looking to complete the following projects:
- Corporate Profiles: We are in the process of compiling information on entities that are aggressively pushing for OFF. We need support in the final push! All the corporate profiles will be compiled into one report.
- Science Library: DCO2 is looking to create a Science Library with easy reference to scientific articles that support our position to ban industrial fish farms in federal waters. This library would also include easy to find experts on specific issue areas. Many articles are already uploaded, they simply need to be organized and entered into a database/spreadsheet.
- Update previous research projects that reflect government funding of industrial aquaculture, as well as data on import/export statistics on seafood.
- Short research inquiries, as necessary.
