The North American Marine Alliance (NAMA) and the National Family Farm Coalition (NFFC) today released a joint statement in response to the launch of the USDA Office of Seafood, welcoming the inclusion of fishing communities while raising concerns about the office’s direction and potential to favor industrial aquaculture and corporate interests.
