Guest opinion: It’s time for Coloradans to start thinking deeply about seafood sourcing

In this guest column for the Daily Camera, Chelsea Brown and Mia Glover, co-founders of WAVES and long-time advocates, urge Coloradans to think about where their seafood comes from.

As a state known for supporting local farmers and food providers, it’s time to apply that same mindset to seafood sourcing. Brown and Glover advocate for the Domestic Seafood Production Act (DSPA), which would boost U.S. seafood production, reduce reliance on imports, and protect oceans from harmful industrial fish farming.
